The classical Arabic language is one of the oldest living languages in the world as well as the origin of many languages.  The Classical Arabic which sets the standard for all written and official material throughout the Arab world , is also a permanent language of the United Nations, and has been established as one of the top business languages in the world...

As is well known, Arabic exhibits diglossia, in other words, the coexistence of two forms of language, a high variety with standard orthography and sociopolitical clout which is not natively spoken by anyone (Modern standard Arabic) and low varieties that are primarily spoken and lack writing standards (Dialect Arabic). The Dialect Arabic and MSA form a continuum of variation at the lexical, phonological, morphological, and syntactic levels.

Learning Arabic language in its cradle is the right way to better penetrate in it.

The Arabic Language Learning Program at Yemen Languge Center is open to students of all ability levels, with program lengths from five weeks to one year.  The program costs cover instruction, texts and additional Arabic language learning materials, visa extension services, transportation to and from Sana'a International Airport, cultural and historical day trips outside of Sana'a, round-trip airfare, internet usage, meals, housing and lectures on Arab history and culture.  Of course, these additional activities serve to dramatically enhance the Arabic language learning experience.

The Arabic study program at Yemen Language Center is divided into three basic levels of instruction: Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced. Three stages of instruction are offered at each level of ability. Classes are held throughout the day from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday through Wednesday.

All teachers place the greatest emphasis on developing a student's ability to speak and comprehend Arabic by listening to native speakers.  Outside of class, all the Arabic language teachers maintain office hours during which students may visit for additional help.

The Arabic study program of Yemen Language Center is organized around a set of basic objectives and a core curriculum, designed by the teaching staff for every level and stage of instruction offered. In the past, for example, this discretionary time has been spent studying Yemeni music and poetry. In addition to regular quizzes, there are two major examinations during each term: the midterm examination and cumulative final examination.  The student must complete it successfully in order to receive the official Certificate of Completion.

Thus , you can make your first steps towards the East with Yemen Language Center.
