Whether you wish to experience diverse cultures and learn about their history or if you just want to relax and get away from it all, you should take a world cruise.

Adventure into new lands and discover an appreciation for life that is defined by experience, not conjecture.

All travelers with a sense of adventure dream of a world cruise. You can embark for a journey to match your imagination aboard the comfort cruise liner.  Naturally the best way to experience its sweeping scope is in its entirety on the over 100-night world cruise. However shorter segments are available, too.  Enjoy multi-day adventures to some of the world's great wonders:  the Taj Mahal, Ayer's Rock, and the Great Wall of China - even the unspoiled jewels of reclusive Myanmar.  And you are also offered a host of exclusive events ashore.  Your travel agent will provide you with not only an ultra-luxury cruise experience, but one that offers authentic cultural insights.

Depending on your itinerary the dress code varies by ship and location. In your documents it states how many formal nights there are, and once on board, the suggested evening dress code is listed on the front page of your ship's daily newsletter.

Shipboard attire ranges from country club casual to informal and formal. Country club casual or resort-style attire is appropriate for daytime on board or ashore. Shorts are not appropriate after 6 p.m. in any of the public rooms or lounges. All guests are asked not to wear bathing suits in the restaurants and lounges at any time. Casual wear includes open neck shirts, slacks and sport outfits.  Formal evening-wear is gowns and cocktail dresses, dinner jackets or dark suits.  Cruises of seven to ten days have one or two formal nights; longer cruises of eleven to fourteen days usually have three formal nights.

If you plan to cruise with a child, you should know that children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult over the age of 21.  Cruise line may restrict the number of children on board.

To plan and book your sailing, you need to ask your professional travel agent.  He or she is best qualified to assist you with all your travel needs.

Passport and Visa requirements may vary depending upon nationality.  It is the guest's responsibility to obtain a passport that is valid for six months after your cruise ends for all international destinations.  Please consult your travel professional or customs authority for documentation requirements for your cruise.

A program of shore excursions may be made available for purchase on board each ship.  Usually you get a shore excursion booklet in advance with final documentation.   Operation of these shore excursions is subject to weather conditions, flight schedule changes and local conditions.  Any cruise cancellation penalties remain in effect as per terms and conditions outlined in the cruise brochure.
