Clothing:
With Aruba's tropical climate, you'll be comfortable in summer clothes and some light evening wear for nightclubs, casinos and restaurants. It's forbidden to be in bathing suits in shopping and business areas. Be careful staying in the sun - apply sunscreen as often as possible. If you have received bad sunburn in Europe, the equivalent in Aruba would be twice worse.
Shopping:
Most shops are open from 9 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. They work from Monday to Saturday. Hotel stores have specified open hours so ask at your hotel about the shops open hours. There is the Alahambra bazaar in Aruba. It is open between 5 p.m. till midnight.
Beaches:
Palm Beach and Eagle Beach are the two main areas where Aruba's hotels and resorts are situated. The resorts along Palm Beach offer you a wide variety of night time activities as well as water sport, games, entertainments, etc. Those who like more active rest can find it here. Palm Beach is the hot-spot for young and active teenagers, adults and elderly people. Eagle Beach is also the Aruba miracle, but more peaceful as compared to Palm Beach.
