Added: 01/29/2006

Whether your wish is for a romantic winter-white reception in a cozy ski lodge, a summer pastime amidst the backdrop of the lush, green landscape or an autumn affair surrounded by a fabulous display of fall colors, Sugarbush will make your wishes come true. Sugarbrush Resort place offers everything you need - from tubing to equipment rentals to a comfortable bench with superb mountain views, and great weekend experience of course!

With two mountains, six peaks, a 'killer' terrain park, 'monster' superpipe and the 2,000 acre Slide Brook Wilderness area, there s no question that Sugarbush has become one of  the best ski resorts  in the East! For those who are convinced by dry figures on, these are some  characteristics of Sugarbrush:
 4,083 summit
2,600 vertical
111 trails adding up to 53 miles
16 lifts
11 wooded areas
70% snowmaking
262 average annual snowfall.
Those who want some more particular descriptions of Sugarbush resort we are ready to acquaint you with this wonderful place in Vermont.  This year 'Ski and Skiing magazine' research in the sphere of  best resorts in the East  rediscovered Sugarbush and all it has to offer.
Our outdoor activities such as skiing/riding, snowshoeing, golf, tennis, hiking, mountain biking, soaring, kayaking, and more offer a unique opportunity to make your meeting or conference productive, impactful, and  memorable. The legendary terrain and friendly service make every group visit to Sugarbush memorable.  Non-downhill ski activities such as snowshoeing through the backcountry, cross-country skiing, and ice skating compliment the legendary ski and ride terrain at Sugarbush.
But the main component of Sugarbush popularity is the incredible snow! Cold, new, loose, fluffy, dry snow that has not been compacted covers the whole area of the Sugarbush resort. This is usually the product of fresh, natural snowfall. But the packed powder snow, either natural or machine made (that has been packed down by skier/rider traffic or grooming machines) is on the ski itineraries. In many other ski resorts, like mount snow,  because of  the hight the tracks are covered with hard powder snow (when natural or machine made snow becomes very firmly packed, you can plant a pole in hard pack snow, but it takes more effort than packed powder).
Sugarbush Resort is a  perfect place not for singles or families only, but for a group of any type and size, from weddings and receptions to corporate retreats. All the Sugarbrush visitors can  avail themselves of everything that Sugarbush and the Mad River Valley have to offer, including the 18-hole Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed Sugarbush Golf Club, 5,000 square feet of meeting space in our conference center, a beautiful Vermont B&B in the Sugarbush Inn, not to mention over 2,600 vertical feet of the best skiing & riding in the East!
Sugarbush offers a variety of accommodations at lodging properties on & around the mountain, as well as throughout the Mad River Valley.  There is everything from intimate B&B's and classic Vermont inns to a range of convenient mountain and slopeside condominiums. Sugarbrush can also provide a variety of lodging, quality catering, restaurant venues, audio visual support, there is even the Valley full of restaurants and activities for you. The Sugarbush Inns 42 cozy rooms will let you cut enough  to catch the first chair with a fresh set of legs while our wide selection of condominiums are ideal for groups big or small. And come the winter of 2006, our new development, Clay Brook at Sugarbush, will offer luxurious slopeside sleepy time. Whether you are looking to stay a day, a week or a lifetime, Sugarbush  will accommodate all  your lodging needs with pleasure.
