Ballroom dance is often called as a common or every day dance, but in fact only a few of us can say that they are ballroom dance masters. A real ballroom dance master can be prepared only in a dance club. Meanwhile dancing in general is very useful first from aesthetic point of view and second for physical evolution of our body, and especially when we are talking about our children.

Speaking about history or evolution of dancing it should be mentioned that the process of differentiation of folk or primitive dance for country or common (city and courtier) style dancing and stage (ritual) style dancing was going on together or in parallel with stratification of a society and its social exfoliation into different, sometimes even, antagonistic classes.

This process was going on similarly in the countries of West and East Europe as well as in the countries of Asia and Africa. But as for Africa here ritual elements are still prevail. Folk roots of ballroom dance had assured its vitality and wide expansion.  Ballroom dance was originated from Italy where it appeared in XIV century.

Here the theoretical background and ballroom dance rules were elaborated on. Later ballroom dance was spread to France which in XVI-XVII centuries became ballroom dance trendsetter. Initially there were no fixed forms in ballroom dancing. Low style dancing with a low bows, curtseys and salutes was prevailing, very often in the form of procession with candles and jets accompanied by dancers singing.

Existing and establishing of dance clubs is very ancient and very nice tradition. For the beginners such dance club gives perfect possibility to polish up their skills and technique. One can visit dance club alone or together with the partner, by the way coming to a dance club together with a partner is a great preference. The age of the people coming to a dance club plays absolutely no part. Dancing is an art without age limits. In dance club before evening program starting you can be offered by preliminary training for very symbolic payment.

Sometimes dance clubs are subdivided in accordance with the style of dancing they propagate.  In the so-called tango-clubs the whole program is based on Argentine tango. Salsa club dance is offering only salsa during the whole evening party, sometimes in alternate with merenga. Rock'n'roll club dance can give a pleasure for its visitors by living music performed by professional musicians being invited especially for this party.

During the last decades American country dance clubs became very popular. Those dance parties are also called ranch dancing. As a rule in such clubs you can be offered to be trained before the party. Besides for participating in such parties you do not need a permanent partner. Such dance clubs are numerous in now days in America and their repertoire is extremely multifarious.

Except dance clubs which are mentioned above, dancing parties are very popular in universities, colleges and schools: admission is free and open for everyone even if you are not a student. So you choose dance club like "Salsa-Rawest" for example where you can find all types of the most popular dances, teach to dance any one of it and go ahead to conquer hearts and world!

As a rule dances were combined: for example, estampida or bass dance with saltarella, pavana with galyarda, etc. Sometimes the name of the dance was created by mixing two first steps or pa. As for example the name "Paso Doble" in Spanish means "two steps", as well as "Paso a Dos" - "dance for two" sounds likely. Those names are connected with the nature of the dance.
