Whenever you happen to visit Las Vegas, you'll be amazed at the diversity of the city's attractions. Stage shows, sporting events, comedy, dance, music
and performances are abundant in Vegas, so much so that the city never seems to sleep. With its numerous casinos and casino hotels, restaurant and grand shops, fine dining and free flowing liquor, Vegas is a genuine paradise for all entertainment lovers.
Those visiting the city should certainly take advantage of the numerous Vegas tours, which ensure unforgettable fun and excitement. In addition, there are a variety of tours from Las Vegas that don't include the city, but rather focus outside of the city's perimeter, providing visitors with an opportunity to view many prominent sights including the Grand Canyon National Park, Valley National Park, Zion National Park and more.
The major attraction and subject too many Vegas tours is the Grand Canyon, which is nearly 200 miles long and 12 miles wide. It is seen as a combination of canyons and gorges, which makes it one of the world's natural wonders. Grand Canyon National Park is located nearly 75 miles from Flagstaff Arizona, opening the view to another prominent attraction - the South Rim Visitor Center. Unlike the North and West Rim Centers, offering fewer opportunities, the South Rim Visitor Center is accessible at any time, offering the best views.
So, the majority of Vegas tours focus on Flagstaff, known also as Phoenix,
and the Grand Canyon. Helicopter tours and airplane tours enjoy wide
popularity, as well as the Grand Canyon Railroad, operating excursion trains
between the South Rim Visitor's Center and Williams Arizona.
Many tourists prefer viewing the canyon from the South Rim Trail, open to
automobile traffic from October to May. Hiking in the canyon is the best way to experience it. Among the most popular routes is Bright Angel Trail, which
offer water stops at several locations along the way. Most often Vegas tours
to the Grand Canyon are planed as two-day hikes with an overnight stay. In
order to attempt overnight hikes, you should get camping permission from
park rangers.
With its restaurants and hotels, grocery store, gas station and souvenir shops, Grand Canyon Village is an initiative of the Nation Park Service. Whenever you fail to make reservations at one of the hotels of Grand Canyon Village, take advantage of the private hotels of the village of Tusayan, which is about six miles from the Grand Canyon Village. Another popular tourist destination is the Death Valley, located north east of Los Angeles. It is more than 100 miles long and about 15 miles wide.
Most of the year the valley enjoys clear blue skies and low precipitation. The temperature remains steady, reaching 50C during the summer month. The
beauty of the valley is captivating. You'll enjoy scenic views of wide open
spaces, mountains, cliffs and sand dunes, which give the valley its classical desert look.
One of the most beautiful sights worth visiting is Zion National Park, which
offers first-time visitors an array of images and colors. It comprises about
148,000 acres, covering an area from 3,700 feet to 8,700 feet above sea
level. The temperature in Zion National Park is diverse, ranging from 38C
during summer month and -18 during the winter month.
