The Killington Ski Season begins before all others in Vermont and lasts well into Spring. Every year Killington is the last Vermont ski resort to close the lifts! Killington is 11 miles east of Rutland and 19 miles west of Woodstock, Vermont. The resort is 250 miles from New York City and 300 km (190 miles) from Montreal. More people ski Killington than any other ski area in Vermont.
