The Late Night Cinema -- a Perfect Late Night OptionMost businesses close fairly early, so, whether you're in dire need of caffeine while pulling an all-nighter for the next day's exam, wandering around after the last call, or looking for somewhere to escape with the gorgeous blonde you just met, it's important that we all know what's open late and what our options are. Almost every city has a late night cinema that shows late night movies. Barcelona and Madrid receive the latest films quite quickly and many are shown dubbed into Spanish. Most cinemas have one night per week when entry is discounted (usually a Monday or Wednesday).
The Barcelona film festival is held end of June/beginning of July and the International Festival of Horror and Fantasy is in nearby Sitges in October. Loews Cherry Hill is a late night cinema. The place gets crowded on some nights. The food is high priced, however you can't really find too many theaters that serve curly fries and shrimp. The seating is great and it is a really clean late night cinema compared to other movies theaters in the area.
A late night cinema can be turned into anything at night. Young people like have nothing better to do than to waste one's life in a cinema or in a dance club. Both areas are colorful, exciting, and have booming audio. Plus everyone's having a good time. , Cinemas and movie theaters are huge and have a great speaker setup. There's your dance floor and music. All of the seats could be on platforms that are hydraulically lifted out of the way or sunk into the floor.
Then the dancing begins. Movies that end with dance tunes could just roll on as the dancing begins. Movies typically end at midnight. That's the last show. Dancing normally begins at midnight. That's when the night is still young. Lighting equipment could lower from the ceiling. It's a pretty good idea to go to the movie and then stay for the dancing. And the movie theatre owners could easily overrun the clubbing industry by doing this.
They have the property. They aren't doing anything with them after midnight. You have the same targeted audience, people that are there with their dates or friends. Yeah, a late night cinema sometimes transforms into a dance club after midnight!
Grahamstown's Roxbury Cinema has recently been filled to the brim with it's first year as the SRC-hosted annual Champagne Movie Premiere. With the atmosphere of sophistication set by the dazzling red carpet scattered with rose petals and lit by candlelight and hundreds of glasses with bubbling champagne, the Roxbury Cinema made it one of the most popular events of the week with all tickets sold. As with all movie evenings, there were some excellent films, some really terrible ones, brilliant actors and ghostly ones; but in the end they all rolled out the red carpet to show everyone a great time.
Most cinemas have replaced the small screens with larger ones. On top of that some late night movie theatres have party rooms available. So after the movie has seen its finish, step by the party room to have some fun with your dates and friends.
Pretty much ANYTHING related to the nightlife can be fun. Including late night cinemas.
