The fourth largest city in America and Texas' largest, Houston offers some of the best nightlife entertainment options in the country. There are many downtown nightclubs that promise to keep you up and dancing till the early morning with retro, rhythm and blues, and hip-hop music. Opera, ballet, theater or the symphony as well as bars and restaurants are a must visit. Between nightlife in Houston and Houston restaurants, you'll have plenty to keep you busy during your next trip south!

Howard Hughes' hometown is diverse and eclectic with a mild climate that makes it do-able even in winter. Truly an international city in terms of cultural diversity, Houston has various populations residing here. This diversity is also readily apparent in the local restaurant industry. Dining out is a snap with more than 9,000 restaurants offering every cuisine imaginable. From Kemah to Katy, The Woodlands to Sugar Land, Downtown to Kingwood and points in between, the Greater Houston area has over 11,000 restaurants, and all of them are worth eating a meal at!
