The Bottom - the Largest Settlement in Saba's Capital is full of Fun Attractions!As soon as you arrive at the Bottom, the largest town of Saba, Netherlands Antilles, the first things you are sure to encounter are two buildings comprising the Saba University School of Medicine, whose students come mainly from North America. To the east is the department of public works housed in an old school building and Saba's oldest Anglican church, whose origins date back to the 1700s.
The center of the main square is home to the bust of the policeman Samuel Charles, gunned here in 1989 in a drugs-related incident. Around the square you'll see neat buildings with white picket fences and police stations, while the eastern edge of the Bottom is home to the governor's house, featuring splendid galleries and intricate wooden fretwork. Some of the most widely reputed sights and attractions of the town include the Wesleyan Holiness Church, with its original walls dating back to 1919.
