Hershey, Pennsylvania, is known as the "cleanest and greenest" destination in the United States and the town, "built on chocolate. The Hersheypark is a theme park of the world class with more than sixty rides and attractions, golf courses for all levels, a zoo and a chocolate-themed spa, and a museum, dedicating its displays to an amusing history of the town and the park.

The Hersheypark in Pennsylvania, rated as the best amusement park in the Northeast by the Family Fun magazine, is an ultimate destination for family fun, entertainment and education. Take a week to explore the Hersheypark and it will not be enough to reveal all its treasures and attractions. The Hersheypark in Pennsylvania has sixty rides and attractions, including ten thrilling roller coasters and the Storm Runner, the world's first hydraulic launch coaster that features inversions, six breathtaking water rides, and over two dozens of rides for the little ones. A historic museum and a fascinating zoo, daily live entertainment and educational programs, games, restaurants and shops are designed to delight every member of the family.

The Hershey Museum, located next to the Hersheypark's main entrance, allows its numerous visitors to explore the town of Hershey, "built on chocolate", through a variety of exhibits, artifacts, original working machinery and creative activities in the Discover Room for Kids and via Chocolate Chats. The museum features extensive Native American and German American collections. Hershey's Chocolate world is within a walking distance of the museum, where you can learn about chocolate making, eat some chocolate, experience Hershey's Really Big 3D Show with one-of-the-kind special effects and meet Hershey's Product Characters.

ZOOAMERICA, the North American Wildlife Park, is an eleven-acre walk-through zoo, situated next to the Hersheypark in Pennsylvania and open year-round. It is home to over two hundred animals, representing seventy species that are native to five regions of North America.

The Hersheypark in Pennsylvania offers school trips for exceptional educational experiences. Students have fun and entertainment through an interactive learning, and enlarge their knowledge on Math and Science, Language and Music. Let us take a Math Day as an example (Friday May, 5, 2006). The concept of educational program is an application of real life situations to the mathematical concepts; for instance, the students can actually watch the train, leaving the station and calculate its speed. A Home school Day (Wednesday May, 24, 2006) is dedicated to learning the history of roller coasters from the seventeenth century Russian ice slides to modern hydraulic launch coasters. The program specifically focuses on the history of ten roller coasters at the Hersheypark in Pennsylvania.

Where to stay? Two best options are the Hotel Hershey and Hershey Lodge. The Hotel Hershey is a synonym to excellence, luxury and exotic spa using chocolate. The Hershey Lodge, called "The Great American Meeting Place", is an ideal family resort with thirty four-year-old history of a fine service and a tradition of excellence.

The 2006 Hersheypark tickets include all entertainment inside the park, all rides with an exception of those with height restrictions, and the same day visit to ZOOAMERICA, when entered from within the park. If you come later during the day, the discount for ticket price is almost fifty percent. A group discount is about forty percent (for groups of twenty and more).
