But there is one festival, which allows you to enjoy all types of art simultaneously. It is the Red River Revel - a real celebration of arts in the USA, Louisiana. Taking place in October, this event is one of the most popular festivals in the South of the USA, which always attract many visitors.
Nowadays this festival has a great popularity not only among American people, but all around the world. The Revel even received three special honors in 2002: it was named in Top 100 Fine Arts Festivals, in Southern Traveler's Travel Treasure and in Top 20 events, composed by the Southern Tourism Society. And these honors cannot surprise anybody. Ask someone, who has seen Red River Revel arts at least once, and he will say you, the festival is really worth to be noticed and appreciated.

But there are no doubts, that the favourite competition for all guests of the Revel is the festival of ethnic cuisines. You have never eaten such delicious dishes as the ones, you may be offered at the Shreveport's event. A lot of people come to the Revel again and again not only for arts, but also for beautiful food.
