Quality entertainment at Turnmills club

Added: 01/17/2006

Leave Heaven or Fabric on Sunday morning and head over to Turnmills for the day. Various parties run at the club all weekend - something for everyone at just about any time. Turnmills gets great DJs through the week, a far cry from some of the other clubs which vary so much that in the one night you can be elated one minute, frustrated the next.

Respected as one of the best clubbing experiences in London, Turnmills doesn't
disappoint. Loads of top class DJs, incredible sound system and ultra stylish crowd. Turnmills club has been an established and well-loved venue in London for over 20 years and is continually receiving plaudits from clubbers and club press alike. It's London's most vibrant and exciting clubbing hotspots, quality entertainment, food and drinks under one roof in the heart of Clerkenwell. Candle lit ground floor bar and restaurant with magical cabaret, jazz, acoustic, open mic sessions etc though the week. Turnmills club has played host to the capital's bevy of well know club nights including City Loud and The Gallery, embracing different styles of dance music and featuring many of the globe's hottest DJs including the likes of Tall Paul, Dave Seaman, Judge Jules, Roger Sanchez and many more. Turnmills has groovy decor and secluded alcoves to explore if you've had enough of dancing. Three main rooms of Turnmills night venue, little anterooms and galleries make for a steady crowd flow. Turnmills club's striking and versatile interior space can be adapted to suit any event from 50 to 1,000 people. All rooms are fully equipped and your event - whether it's a fashion show, product launch, corporate event or party - can be fully customized, using projection screens and lasers to display images and logos. Excellent food and drink packages are available from the two restaurants, Anexo and Turnmills Top Floor, and there's also a 24-hour music and entertainment license. Whatever event you are planning, from an all-out party with a buffet and DJ to sophisticated Champagne receptions, Turnmills club has the flexibility to accommodate your budget. New projects for Turnmills in 2006 include a live room, where John Kennedy from Xfm will host bi-monthly parties featuring cutting-edge electronic bands and new dance acts. Turnmills' NYE party Together is also going monthly from 28th January 2006, and will be a 'new four-room genre-crossing mix of body popping DJs and live acts'. Electroclash heroes Fischerspooner are on the decks, with support from David Guetta, David Duriez and Tommy Four Seven. The second room has a four hour acid set by Justin Robertson plus Bones and Ramsey and Kid Carpet, while XFM's John Kennedy presents live bands in the third room. There are also plans to start up a bingo VIP room at Turnmills.
The forthcoming events at the club: Saturday, January 21 - Serious at Turnmills. Part of the night's tenth birthday celebrations, featuring M.I.K.E., John "00" Fleming, Simon Patterson and Luke Neville.
