Orient Lines' Crown Odyssey is a fine ship to explore exotic seas. Her former name was Norwegian Crown; the ship was refurbished and entered the present fleet of Orient Lines ships in 1993. Oftentimes the small size of Crown Odyssey is actually an advantage, for the ship is able to enter resorts and island ports where larger ships cannot.
Being small in relation to many other cruise liners, this ship is nevertheless large enough to carry 1,000 passengers. There are two swimming pools on the board (indoor and outdoor), Jacuzzis, a magnificent showroom, a casino, a two-story theater, a health club, a library, an Internet cafe, several dining rooms and four elevators. Above all, there is a panoramic lounge offering 360 degrees spectacular views of the surroundings. Except common cabins, there are penthouse suites with private balconies and spacious staterooms with big windows.
The second of Orient Lines ships is Marco Polo. Marco polo ship was built in 1965 in Germany, its previous name was Alexander Pushkin, and in 1993 she was refurbished and entered the fleet of Orient Lines ships. Marco Polo accommodates 826 passengers. It is surprising how such a comparatively small area of the ship can contain all the amenities and facilities of a fully equipped resort including a barber shop, boutiques, an aerobics studio, a casino, a photo shop\gallery, a duty free shop, a library, an Internet Cafe, a swimming pool, a Thalasso therapy center, a health club, Jacuzzis, and a card & game room. The ship offers telephone, facsimile and telex connections. All cabins are equipped with music consoles, safes and television sets. The public rooms are comfortable and elegant. There are Polo Lounge, the piano bar with leather seats and fluffy chairs, the bistro-style restaurant, Raffles, with barbeque grill area, and a double buffet. The main dining room, Seven Seas Restaurant with tables for four, six and eight people, decorated with graceful columns and etched glass partitions, is overlooking the ocean. Ambassador Lounge is the showroom provided with a stage, a dance floor, a piano, a bar and a ceiling-mounted projection screen. The Charleston Club features a dance floor, banquette seating and a grand piano. Casino offers four black jack tables, one roulette table and twenty-three slot machines. The ship has a resilient ice-strengthened hull that enables her to cruise in the Antarctic.
Many of Marco Polo guests go on Orient Lines cruises choosing this particular ship again and again. Attracted by a variety of entertainment options, people go on cruises every year for there is always something to do, always something new to see, always some interesting to learn. People have dinners at different restaurants, relax by different swimming pools, go to various performances, spend time in Jacuzzi, do aerobics and enjoy themselves. Orient Lines ships help the company to achieve its ultimate goal, to make your vacation the best ever and make sure you come back for more!
