According to Manila Declaration of the World Tourism Organization, social tourism is the aim that must be pursued by the society for citizens who have no access to the right to rest and relaxation. The Bureau International du Tourisme Social, known by its acronym BITS, was established to promote the right to holidays, leisure and tourism.
