There exists a famous skin types table, here the second and third types are most known as normal skin.
I = pale white Always burns; never tans; sensitive ("Celtic")
II = white Burns easily; tans minimally
III = white (average); Burns moderately; tans gradually to light brown (Average Caucasian)
IV = beige or lightly tanned; Burns minimally; always tans well to moderately brown (Olive Skin)
V = moderate brown or tanned; Rarely burns; tans profusely to dark (Brown Skin
VI = dark brown or black; Never burns; deeply pigmented, not sensitive (Black Skin)
In general, normal skin presents itself evenly and practically free from any blemishes.
Normal skin is the most blessed thing for a tan - tans easily, quickly and burns rarely. Every woman dreams about normal skin, cause it doesn`t require extra care or groom at the same time looking wonderfully.
But though a suntan looks nice on the normal skin and makes one feel good, there is no medical evidence to suggest that a suntan improves health. Recent medical research shows skin damage is cumulative and starts with that first sun exposure, and normal skin is not an exception.
The two types of ultraviolet sunlight that can damage the skin are Ultraviolet A and Ultraviolet B rays. UVA rays are the slow-tanning rays that penetrate deep into the skin and age the skin prematurely. UVB rays cause burning of the skin and are considered the major cause of skin cancer. Since all skin is not created equal, it is important to know that the more skin pigment, the better to prevent sunburn. Normal skin has about 5-8 natural SPF of the UV light.
This pigment (melanin) produces Vitamin D which is critical for bone health. A deficiency in vitamin-D caused by lack of sun exposure increases the risk of bone diseases such as osteoporosis, osteomalaciaand others. Vitamin D regulates blood pressure and may help reduce risk of hypertension, stroke, heart attack and heart failure, improves insulin production and may help prevent diabetes. If people with brown skin-coloring avoid sunlight for a long time, their normal skin acquires grayish shade. They just need sunlight. And the same is with normal skin individuals, their need in outdoor sunlight for organism to function. We know that the sun energises and relaxes us- why else do people cheer up and calm down when the sun comes out? UV exposure and the resulting natural tan people with normal skin get increases self-confidence and gives a general sense of well-being to them.
But we also know that the pleasure of lying on the beach without appropriate ( I doubt there are people who dare to tan without any) sunscreen turns to the normal skin too a high payment. Photoaging, leathery skin, sunspots, moles, cancers, blindness and whatnot are promised by dermatologists to the normal skin type. And the saddest thing is that their promises are true- to see your normal skin with glowing tan becomes a kind of shabby leather is a horrible ordeal. Of course, nowadays our society is highly tan ?educated, but it is not enough to know. So preserve normal skin since the very childhood.
