Mallorca nightlife completely depends upon which resort you choose as it varies greatly. The southern resorts tend to be the livelier ones; these resorts have a wide selection of bars and discos. The northern resorts are a lot quieter in comparison and the main nightlife is centered on bars and restaurants, where you can sit for hours watching the world go by after a lovely meal.

Mallorca nightlife is known all over the world. There are various spots you can and should visit - you arrived but to have an active rest, don't you? There are three main centers: El Arenal, Magaluf, and Playa de Palma. In El Arenal you can see a majority of German people in most discos and pubs. Magaluf is a full of people from UK. Palma is a more refined place, and there are more of local people there.

El Arenal has lots of clubs. But you don't know which you will choose? Do not be upset! All El Arenal is one big nightlife area. For example, the "Oberbayern", which means "Upper Bavaria". Its DJs play disco music and German folk songs. Besides hitting packed dance floor you can sit at one of the long tables on a bench - like in a beer garden. The "Oberbayern" usually has an entertainment program, so you won't be bored: either famous German singers perform their programs or they hold "beauty pageants" for tourists.

In Playa de Palma with its charming narrow lanes you will find a large number of pubs and fashionable locals. This is the ideal place to start your tour through Mallorca nightlife. Paseo Martimo offers elegant and sophisticated places, discos and locals with live performances of jazz, swing and blues. If you are young and want to dance choose Zona Darsena Can Barbara and you won't be sorry for visiting it! At Paseo Mallorca, in the very center of town, there are numerous elegant places and cocktail bars. Zona de la Playa, the area of the beaches, is great fun for the young ones with its countless discos where you can dance until dawn.

Magaluf is the brightest resort situated in the south-west of Mallorca and one of the best destinations to go. Mallorca nightlife is centered in Magaluf, which is famous for its nightlife with places such as Boomerangs, Lennons, Poco Loco, Fusion, etc. with the latter regularly hosting top name DJ's. Magaluf is full of good looking people looking for a good time.
