Major new attractions at Disneyland Paris 2006

About 32 kilometers outside of Paris, it is about one-fifth the size of Paris itself. Millions have visited since it opened and it provides a great opportunity to make the kids and the parents happy. Not only is it close to Paris, it's also three hours from London via Eurostar.
Paris Disneyland 2005 has experiencing hard times, and Disneyland Paris 2006 has announced that revenue has gone up 3.7% in the first quarter due primarily to higher occupancy rates in the resort?s hotels and increased spending. Revenue in the theme parks increased 2% due to higher attendance.

Disneyland Resort Paris also plans several major new attractions to open over the next three years. Disneyland Paris 2006 will see the opening of Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, based on the highly popular attractions at other Disney parks around the world. Everything looks ready for it?s opening on April 8th. In 2007, Walt Disney Studios Park will add a new land called Toon Studios, which will immerse guests in the magical world of Disney's animated movies. The ground work is underway for Toon Studios and the ride system for Crush?s Turtle Twister will be a custom spinning coaster from Maurer-Sohne, with special sections for the slow moving dark ride segments. And in 2008, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror will come to Disney Studios - plunging guests into a thrilling experience based on the iconic attraction at other Disney parks. If the rumors are true, the next major attraction coming to the Walt Disney Studios theme park will be a copy of the popular Philharmagic 4D theater attraction currently running at Walt Disney World and Hong Kong Disneyland. They believe that the new attraction will be fitted into either the Animagique (Soundstage 3) or Cinemagique (Soundstage 2) theaters.
