One of the most exciting resorts of Canada is Banff, with its world-famous Rockies. People often visiting Banff resort prefer the Lake Louise, the Banff Park's centre, which amazes with its beauty and exciting sceneries.  This part can be divided into separate pieces: the first is a small mall with shops and hotels renowned as Lake Louise Village; the second is the lake itself; and the third one is Moraine Lake, which is located 13 kilometers away from the Village and has several easily accessed trails.  Even if you come here just to observe the splendid nature and do nothing you won't stay aside and will surely try to walk along the winding trails or cruise up to the Lake Louise.

In winter you can be busy with snowboarding and skiing there, or making 100-kilometer voyages along cross-country trails.  There are so many activities at this resort, and the location is surrounded with so splendid landscapes that it has gained the name of 'North America's Most Scenic Ski Area'.  This place gives you a great opportunity to relax and enjoy your life; you can try yourself in mountain camping, skiing and snowboarding there - the Village Ski Resort and Norquay offer all these pleasures to you.

Skiing was born here in the 1920s, and since those times this resort enjoys wide popularity, so it is not a surprise at all that it is full of guests all the year round.  The most famous activity of the place is cross-country skiing in the region of the Lake Louise, which occurs around the lake itself, on Moraine Lake Road and in the Skoki Valley area.  If you want to walk around the lake and find something new about it and the whole resort you should take guided walks run three or four times a week in July and August.  You can also rent bikes from Wilson Mountain Sports in the mall, or sign up for cycling tours and survey the terrain.  But for the most unforgettable memories you should rent canoes for a trip across the Bow River.

This beautiful resort also offers photo cards where splendid landscapes and sceneries are captured.  You can buy them and take home for calm peaceful nights near the fireplace, when you will look at these cards and remember this beautiful resort and your wonderful vacations.  When you try to remember what you were doing there these photos will help you, because the number of activities offered is so enormous that it is not shameful to forget about something.

There are so many trips and events for you on the globe these days that you can really consider yourself happy to live in such a prime.  But if you want your rest to be amazing, bright and memorable go to Banff in Canada.  Beautiful nature with dangerous waterfalls and mystic ridge, nice valleys and splendid landscapes - all of this and much more is to be found in the world-famous Canadian Banff Park, a beautiful resort surrounded with mountains.
