Interdependent globalization aims at stability of world peace, justice and security

Added: 05/10/2006

The interdependent globalization is a process that should join all nations and peoples to challenge problems that threaten their lives. This process must consist of joining efforts of all nations to build stronger economies, thriving cultures, powerful laws and clean environment. All nations should think today on establishing a new world order that suggests compassion, peace, justice and security.

Since its establishment, the Global Interdependence Center has developed strategies and actions, aimed at building the interdependent globalization of all nations in all areas, including Economy, Politics, Social Development, Environment and Security. What does the concept of interdependent globalization include and what are its positive impacts on our society?

The concept of interdependent globalization is being developed on the fact of peoples' equality and justice. All inequalities and injustices appear as a result of our history and social behavior; they are not created by God or nature. Peoples' equality, full rights of each person on the planet to the blessings of life and liberty, peace and security, full moral obligations of each person to preserve those rights for future generations form a ground for the interdependent globalization.

As everyone wants to share these equal opportunities, he should admit that the interdependent globalization allows all nations and peoples to jointly solve the problems that threaten their life. Actually, this can be any problem that citizen, country and the world face today: terrorism, environment pollution, social and political underdevelopment, regional conflicts, or illiteracy.

The interdependent globalization consists of establishing a new world order that suggests compassion, peace, justice and security. It includes getting free from the limitations of national prejudice and acknowledgment that the powers that join people are much stronger than those that put nations apart.

The principles that should manage the interdependent globalization processes are:

•Global protection of environment, where each citizen realizes that the resources of our planet are not limitless and need some careful preservation; each society should also assure that its population does not overburden its natural resources;

•The recognition of the fact that pollution has no boundaries; it spreads with the wind, rain and snow; hence, there is no ground to deny that preserving the nature pollution is a matter of interdependent globalization;

•The establishment of global citizenship, where each citizen of each nation is fully aware of his rights and duties not only in the face of his national government and law, but also in the face of the world law and order;

• Interdependent creation of conditions that will be capable of building more effective tools for keeping peace and security within and among nations.

•Research and implementation of more effective technologies to provide and preserve world water resources.

•Strengthening and broadening the jurisdiction and world law to put an end to wars, terrorism, any type of violence and conflicts;

•Developing a global cultural and scientific exchange to permit all the nations and peoples to enjoy new technologies and peaces of arts;

•Maintaining the economic cooperation, international trade and investments.

The concept of interdependent globalization seems too much complex, but the GIC members benefit much from participating in the process. Last year, the GIC celebrated the increasing economic interdependence between the US and India and India's critical change from a closed society to one of the world's largest economies.
