For example, among big posh hotels on Sardinia the most stunning is Hotel splendid royal. This is a 5 star hotel, distinguished from all other hotels on Sardinia by its luxury and transcendentally high prices. The most fantastic and of all hotels on Sardinia it deserves a look, but you should forget about shirts and jeans - strict dress-code is necessary to stay here. Like many hotels on Sardinia it possesses its private beach, gardens, and amazing mini marina that enable you to step out of your yacht and into the piano bar. On the whole, here reigns the atmosphere of extreme luxury and plutocracy, an? If it just the thing you wanted to get from hotels on Sardinia, be ready to pay much for it.
You can choose more democratic hotels on Sardinia, with practically the same activities and amenities. The Hotel offers magnificent surroundings for holidays and business trips at any time of year: impeccable service, rooms and suites most of them with sea view, two restaurants, the Beach Club with a panoramic swimming pool and private beach, the Health and Fitness Club to care for your well-being with indoor heated swimming pool, Finnish sauna, steam bath, Beauty Farm for massages, tailor made facial and body treatments, talassotherapy and sea view - this is a common set of five or four star hotels on Sardinia.
Those preferring more modest hotels on Sardinia will like a kind of purely Italian invention - cottages combined with hotels. Ca La Samara belongs to them, so called agri-tourist hotels on Sardinia. It is located in a quiet country setting that used to be a farm house, which was an old donkey sanctuary. There are different rates of accommodation but all rooms are nicely decorated in a kind of rustic Italian country style. Comfortable beds, decent suites and a view over to the swimming pool. A small guest kitchen with a dining area means you can self cater, and store things in a fridge.
Such agri-tourist hotels on Sardinia usually have an area called Zona Relax with comfortable chairs and hammocks for you to sleep in. This is a totally relaxing place to stay and we would return without hesitation. Apart from the hammock area this is one of the few agri-tourismo's that have a pool and it is a lovely one too. There are also donkeys in the nearby field. It is well located for driving around the Costa Esmeralda and to places like Porto Cervo and the surrounding area. We had a wonderful time here and recommend it to anyone.
Basically Sardinia cottages enjoy greater popularity than hotels on Sardinia, as preserving practically the same price, offer much more flexibility and freedom.
