Paris... there is something irresistible about it, A sense of romance, luxury and fete. Paris is a very welcoming city, where everything is done to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay. You will only have to choose a hotel to your taste and welfare. According to the state classification, approved by the Tourist Department of France, all hotels are divided in five large groups.

Four Star Luxe Hotels are the most comfortable and have the highest service standards. These are so called palaces. Some of them occupy the first lines in the worldwide hotel ratings. The most famous Paris palaces are George V, Meurice, Ritz, Plaza Athenee, Bristol, Crillon, Royal Monceau, Prince de Galles and De Vendome. They are all situated in the very heart of the city. Their luxurious interiors will not leave indifferent and dissatisfied even a most demanding visitor with exquisite taste. Frescos and mosaic on walls and floor, glitter of ancient glasses creates atmosphere of the Royal Household. A lot of apartments are decorated in styles of different epochs of French history. They are all without exception ideally equipped for work and repose. They are also rather spacious (the smallest room in George V is about 45 square meters). Four Star Luxe Hotels usually have several restaurants, bars, conference halls, fitness centers and saunas.

Four Star Hotels, such as Vernet, Du Louvre, Scribe, Hyatt Regency, Intercontinental, Westminster, are also can be found in the city center. But, contrary to palaces, that are built in classical style, Four Star hotels often tend to mordern trends in architecture. Disregardless of style, these hotels offer to their visitors spacious apartments with telephones, satellite TV, air conditioners, mini-bars and so on. Practically everywhere you can find expensive restaurants, conference halls and bars.

Three Star Hotels are very popular among the majority of middle class tourists. More than a half of all tourists groups prefer to stay here: Ronchet, Vignon, Moliere, Caumartin, Elysees Ponthieu, Lafayette, Mattle, Opera Lafayette, Mondial, Peyris, Pax. These hotels are situated mainly in the district of Grand Opera. Most of them were built in late XIX - early XX. Thus, they tend to classical style and have rather small rooms, narrow corridors and tiny lifts (only for two). But in 1988, in the beginning of Football World cup, local Three Star Hotels were reconstructed and improved. They are fairly comfortable and have the whole set of modern conveniences: bathrooms, hair dries, telephones, TV, safes.

And finally, Two Star Hotels. They are Villa Fenelon, Prima Lepic, Opera Drouot (îòåëè ñèñòåìû Relais de Paris), Maxim, Victor Masse, Fiat. You can find them mostly in the suburbs. Of course, they are less comfortable and, consequently, cheaper. The average price for a room there varies from $30 to $60 per night. Those who cannot afford expensive apartments, choose to stay in Two Star Hotels. Anyway, Paris wont't become less beautiful, if there is no safe in you hotel room, will it?
