Haikou City is Charming and Welcoming

Haikou, also known as Coconut City is the Hainan Province in China's second largest island. With the sea on three sides, Haikou enjoys having a long coastline that has excellent bathing beaches and great seaside resorts. The city has beautiful scenery, a pleasant climate, and luxuriant vegetation. In short, it is a dream travel destination.

However, the city is also prized for its other signature dishes. There are four dishes to delight the gourmet and they shouldn't be missed. They are Wenchang Chicken, Dingshang Mutton, Jiajai Duck, and Helene Crab. There is an abundance of fresh local frits such as mangos, pineapples, jackfruits, coconuts, caramboa, pawpaw, lichee, loquat, raspberry, and passion fruit. Today, Haikou City has a permanent population of about 650,000 and a floating population in excess of 200,000. Haikou City is truly a multi cultural city that is made up with a variety of nationalities that are all warm and friendly.
