If a fruit tea does not include many components and does not take much time and energy to prepare, by no means it is less useful and delicious. The easiest and the quickest way to prepare wonderful fruit tea is just to add to the hot tea slices of any fruit you want and let it stand for a minute. Apple tea, lemon tea or strawberry tea, prepared in such a way will be an excellent late morning or afternoon refresher and a source of energy and vitamins.
There is an interesting fruit tea recipe, Tea Fruit Cup. It does include many components, but it will not take much time to prepare. For 12 people you will need: 4 oz. sugar, 2 pints water, 1/4 pint strong fresh strained tea, 1/4 pint Fruit Syrup (e.g. rose hip), 1/4 pint orange squash 1/4 pint lemon squash, 1/4 pint pineapple Squash, 1 small bottle lemonade, 12 fresh or canned cherries, 2 bananas, sliced ice. First, boil the sugar and 1/4 pint water together for 5 minutes. Add the cooled tea, the rest of the water, the fruit syrup and fruit squashes. Chill and when ready to serve add the other ingredients and the ice.
If you are a lover of spicy teas, try the following spicy fruit tea recipe for the preparation of which you will need: 4 pints water, 1/2 level tsp. whole cloves, 1/2 a stick of cinnamon, 1 oz. tea 4 oz. sugar, 1/4 pint orange juice or squash, juice of 2 lemons, cinnamon sticks to serve. Add the spices to the water and bring to the boil. Pour onto the tea and allow to brew for 5 minutes. Stir, strain onto the sugar and stir until dissolved. Add the fruit juices. If it is necessary, reheat before serving. Serve with cinnamon sticks. These quantity will be sufficient for 12 people.
The next fruit tea recipe gives the possibility to make a drink of special taste and flavor full of vitamins and minerals, which are so vital for our rush modern life. For Ginger Lemon Tea you will need 1 1/2 cups fresh ginger, peeled and coarsely chopped (about 3/4 pound), 4 cups boiling water,6 whole cloves, 8 cups water, 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice, 1 1/2 to 2 cups sugar, fresh lemon slices for garnish. First, puree ginger with 1/4 cup boiling hot water in a food processor. Pour into a quart jar and add cloves. Stir. Add remaining 3 3/4 cups boiling water and continue to stir. Let stand uncovered at room temperature for 3-4 hours. Then place a large coffee filter in a sieve or colander and pour in ginger mixture. Drain completely and discard solids. Pour into a one-gallon container and stir in lemon and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Add 8 cups water and stir. Taste and adjust sweetness or add more water if ginger flavor is too strong. Chill and serve over ice and garnish with a fresh slice of lemon if desired. These amounts of ingredients will be sufficient to prepare about 16 servings.
And the last but not the least fruit tea recipe will be the recipe of Easy & Delicious Fruit Tea. For eight servings you will need 2 Lipton Cold Water Brew tea bags (can use other, if desired), 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1 12-oz. can frozen pink lemonade, 1 or 2 teaspoons almond extract. Add lemonade to a 2-quart pitcher and fill with cold water. Add two tea bags and let brew for ten minutes. Add sugar and almond flavoring.
Fruit tea is perfectly suitable for arrangement of any tea party. It can be set either with apple, strawberry, cherry or any other motive. For example, for a strawberry tea party you can serve strawberry tea, strawberry teacakes, chocolate dipped strawberries, chilled strawberry and berry breakfast bread. Any thematic tea party will be a wonderful opportunity for friends to meet or for children to have fun.
