Friendly vibe of Turnmills nightclub

Added: 01/16/2006

One of London's best nightclubs, Turnmills has firmly established itself as one of London's most prominent and influential entertainment venues. Turnmills has a nice crowd, nice staff and a great atmosphere and retains a place in every club kid's heart. Get some friends who know their music and have a great night.

Synonymous with efficiency and success, the Turnmills complex in London houses two restaurants, a bar, gymnasium and recording studio, together with the world famous nightclub playing host to the most celebrated DJs from around the globe every weekend. Easy to reach from the City, Docklands and West End, Turnmills is located just 2 minutes from Farringdon station and a stone's throw from the original Clerk's Well in trendy Clerkenwell. Having been granted the UK's first ever 24 hour entertainment license and with a H generous late license, Turnmills has developed an unrivalled reputation for event promotion, flexibility and first class service.
Turnmills nightclub is reckoned as having the most 'northern' vibe amongst the capital's nightspots. Turnmills is a very friendly place. The music is great, it keeps you going all night and is good right up to when you leave.
Turnmills London nightclub is one of most established and best loved night spots famed for its super sonic sound system and friendly vibe. Over its history, it has lit up the dance music scene embracing a wide variety of styles from house to trance, Latin beats and techno. There are two critically acclaimed restaurants open all night long and the venue stretches over three intimate floors. A decade ago Turnmill's decor was the best thing since MDMA, but now it feels almost quaint. Three main rooms and a host of little anterooms and galleries make for a steady flow of human traffic. Plenty of seating in discreet alcoves for tired legs and canoodlers drinking their student loans dry.
A friendly bunch of up-for-its restore your faith in the inherent blinking niceness of humanity at Turnmills nightclub on a weekly basis. And they do it well. If you were so inclined you could trance, prance and shimmy the whole weekend into oblivion at this famed East London sweatpit. The music is really hard on a Fridays. The nights kick off with The Gallery's clarion call to gurning mainstream househeads; screaming into Saturday with Headstart - the successor to the legendary Heavenly Social and heavier and deeper sounds for an artier, more student crowd. Turnmills nightclub makes you soon forget that hard week at work you have had. Even though the doormen can be very rude, who cares because you don't go to see them. The club inside is very raw and the dress code isn't that strict. Turnmills certainly has something a plethora of other clubs seems to lack - personality. Sure it has a fairly tacky interior and bouncers who think they're god but what would normally put you off another place is forgotten about when you head down those steps and make your way into the club. The size of the main room dictates how much you are going to like the night. It's far from huge and shaped a little awkwardly especially with the bar at the back. But it's personal and intimate, with mostly friendly people and a good sound system. Plus you never once have to queue for a drink as there are so many tiny bars about Turnmills nightclub.
Turnmills is a great place; it treats its clientele well and offers big nights out making you want to come back again.
