The origins of ice cream can be traced back to the 3d or 4th century B.C. We are lucky to live in the time and age when we have numerous brands, flavors and varieties of USA ice cream to choose from.

Ice cream's origins are known to reach back as far as the second century B.C., although no specific date of origin or inventor has been indisputably credited for its discovery. The first official account of ice cream in the New World comes from a letter written in 1744 by a guest of Maryland Governor William Bladen. Since then, ice cream in U.S. has become America's #1 dessert.
