The location at the coast of the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico of such American state as Florida has influenced the life of this state. I am talking about Florida seafood festivals. Some Florida seafood festivals have become an essential part of Florida life which is a paradise for holidaymakers. Some tourist even plan their holidays in Florida when there is a seafood festival. Florida seafood festivals are a good chance to know better the life of the state, to taste seafood dishes of the different national cuisines and of the best cooks that come to festivals to show off their culinary skills. Pensacola Seafood Festival in September. Twenty three carefully selected food vendors offered a wide assortment of delicious seafood, both traditional and gourmet recipes. Anyone might choose between fried mullet or crabmeat puffs with Monterey sauce; crawfish etouffe or seafood pita. A variety of food for all!
16th Annul Stone Crab, Seafood & Wine Festival in October. For each of the past sixteen years, The Colony on Longboat Key has celebrated the beginning of Stone Crab season by inviting this nation's leading chefs and vintners to join guests for a long weekend of fabulous food and wine in a beautiful setting at the edge of the warm, blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
17th Annul Ruskin Seafood & Arts Festival in November. This is a family oriented alcohol free community festival. Last year there were 12,000 attendees to the lovely county park. The Seafood is great! Admission gets you free entertainment, a boat show, children's court and a juried art festival. Seafood and other items are available for individual vendors.
