Ferretti Group is one of the world's largest yacht builders, producing luxury motor yachts ranging in size from 7 to 65 meters. Ferretti Yachts began as two brothers selling other companies' yachts, chose to move on to constructing yachts on their own. Norberto and Alessandro Ferretti started the Italian company in 1968. Today, Ferretti S.p.A. encompasses a number of companies with related yachting specialties and brands. Ferretti constructs yachts at three distinct shipyards in Italy: the original shipyard S. Giovanni in Marignano, the headquarters in Forli, and Cattolica, the most state-of-the-art facility where 16 Ferretti boats can be constructed at one time. Ferretti also has a research and design center in Forli, where ideas are originated with the help of the latest computer technologies.

Ferretti 880 is a new Ferretti Group yacht.With this brand-new model, Ferretti Yachts has made its official debut in the luxury superyacht sector. This yacht was designed for those who wish to cruise in top-of-the-range style, without forsaking that feeling of intimacy typical of Ferretti's yachts. The 880 was designed to maintain the House characteristics, and it has simple, dynamic and sophisticated lines. The exceptional design work performed by the Zuccon International studio and Ferretti Engineering is particularly obvious on the flybridge, which represents a combination of styling and spacious luxury. It is an invitation to enjoy sun and sea in conditions of total relaxation. Everything is incredibly detailed, exclusive and comfortable, such as the whirlpool tub, the cocktail bar, the settees and the sundeck. Cruising is made more comfortable thanks to a large corner sofa located near the pilot-house, accompanied by a coffee table. In this area, separated from the rest of the bridge to create more privacy, you can find a second descent to the lower bridge in addition to the main one with access to the cockpit. The horse-shoe-shaped sofa can seat 8 persons around the table for an open-air lunch. A large round tub with positioned hydro-massage, located in the center of the large sunbathing platform where guests can comfortably chat with those seated as well as those having a hydro-massage, can also be requested.  

Regarding performance, this new Ferretti Group yacht has two MTU 2030 CV motors, chosen in order not to disappoint clients' expectations for this type of super yacht. It is possible to reach a cruising speed of 27 knots, while maximum speed is 30 knots.  

All luxury performance production yachts are fabricated with Kevlar/glass reinforcement, vinylester resign and Termanto-cored hull sides and superstructures. Exteriors are gelcoat finished.
 
All Ferretti yachts are RINA classified (Royal Registry of the Italian Navy). They include a standard feature list of American design appointments. All appliances are made and serviceable in the US. All yachts have a standard electronics package including: GPS/Chart Plotter, 48 mile radar, VHF radios, Depth and Speed indicators, and Autopilot. 72' and 80' yachts include a Novurania tender with 25hp outboard. Additionally, all yachts are equipped with full US Coast Guard safety kits (life jackets, flare kits, etc.), dishes and silverware.
