Added: 01/13/2006

Whether you are looking for recreational involvement, advancing your skills or just want to make new friends, there are numerous social clubs that can help. A social club is organized for pleasure, recreation, and other similar non profitable purposes. Substantially all of a club's activities exist for these purposes.

A statewide or nationwide organization that is made up of individual members is called a social club. Individuals join a club on the bases of membership. Personal contact, commingling, and fellowship is what you find among the members of a social club. They are bound together by a common objective directed toward pleasure, recreation, and other non profitable purposes.  The membership in a social club is normally limited.  A club that issues corporate memberships is dealing with the general public or the corporation's employees.
There are lots and lots of social clubs out there. Joining a club is a great opportunity to meet new people, make new friends and enjoy a great social life. Club activities usually include dining out, dinner dances, quiz evenings, live entertainment, cinema, ten pin bowling, skiing, horse riding, quad biking, adventure caving, walks, and much more. The alternative social groups are for like-minded people interested in personal growth, holistic living and laughter. Clubs are supported solely by membership fees, dues, and assessments. People join clubs on the basis of personal interests, beliefs and professions. If you are interested in charity - you can join a social club with a strong tradition of doing fun charity events and community activities. A club like that is a mix of social and charity events, barn dancing, charity balls and community activities. Social clubs are a unique combination of social events, outdoor activities and public service opportunities.

Students can also join Affinity Clubs which provide social support for students from a particular background. Affinity clubs also provide cultural education for the greater community. Affinity clubs are open to all students regardless of their background. School Academic Clubs are formed with students from the particular discipline and then provide assistance in that discipline. School Service Clubs are formed primarily to provide assistance to one area of the school. School Social Clubs provides a social outlet for the students who have a like interest.
