The Sesame Place Theme Park also existed in Dallas, but was closed; hence, the Sesame Place in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, fully enjoys being the only park of this kind with the aim of entertainment, fun and education.

The Sesame Place is the only park in the USA, based on the award-winning television show Sesame Street. The renowned show comes to life through each facility, construction and performance of the Sesame Place Park, including amusement rides, water fun, entertainment, exciting parades and great special events, as well as walk around characters, comprising loveable Baby Bear, Big Bird, Elmo, Ernie and Bert.
