The Boys and Girls Clubs of America have impacted needy children since the turn of the century. The clubs have provided direction, friendship, guidance and just by "being there" have had a positive affect on children of every race and creed. 3300 different centers have formed the net of Boys and Girls clubs of America in which about 3.6 million children from under privileged and poor families are benefiting from different types of after-school activities under supervision of very skilled and qualified professionals: teachers, educators and coaches.

A Boys and Girls Club is established in order to give a possibility to our children to develop their skills, to give them a chance to test their knowledge and polish up their abilities, to provide them with some kind of specific knowledge which they need but can not find anywhere else. If we look into the history of society we can easily find different types of clubs by interests which have been in existence for a long time.
