Enjoy The Most Popular Disney Games

Following the explosion in popularity of Disney's renowned animated cartoons, motion pictures, and shows, Walt Disney Productions started creating adventure games, and the majority of them feature extremely popular Disney characters, like Aladdin, Chicken Little, Winnie the Pooh, the Lion King, and others. Most Disney games are comprised of several mini games and levels, while some of them feature two or more versions of the same game.
Based on the motion picture of the same time, Disney's Aladdin is a video game, released in the 16 bit era. Unlike the majority of Disney games, Aladdin's two versions, Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Sega Mega Drive, are two completely different games. The latter was released by the Walt Disney Company in 1994, and featured fluid graphics due to the use of cel animation. The game itself is a side-scrolling platformer that involves killing enemies and jumping across ledges. Game levels are quite different, including the level where Aladdin has to jump across the rooftops of Agrabah and another, in which he must escape from the Cave of Wonders on the Carpet. The Super Nintendo Entertainment System was designed by Camcom Shinji Mikami, and ported subsequently to the Game Board Advance. It differs from the other game versions where Aladdin is provided with the scimitar. In this version, Aladdin must jump on enemies in order to defeat them. There is also an extra challenge, which involves finding 50 diamonds throughout the game. In accordance with the number of collected diamonds, the credits screen may change slightly.

Rating among the most popular Disney games, Kim Possible 3: Team Possible features Ron Stoppable and Kim working as a team to take on Dr. Drakken, Monkey Fist, and the father/son duo of Senior Sr. and Jr. as they make attempts to find out who stole the photo album of Kim's grandmother. As players make their way through many complicated levels of Team Possible, they must use Ron and Kim effectively, and keep in mind that they have their own weakness and strengths. Team Possible is also one of the most unique Disney games that can be played co-operatively, with one player acting as Ron, and the other as Kim.

With its 17 action-packed levels, Chicken Little is one of the most successful Disney games, offering great excitement, and allowing you to master various gadgets while playing as the key characters. You'll experience the adventures of Chicken Little and his friends Abby, Runt of the Little, and Fish-Out-of-Water. All of the levels capture the most important film moments and environments that extend experience into space. Six multiplayer games can be used for two-player entertainment, while the arsenal of gadgets includes a slingshot, cannon, yo-yo, bottle rocket jet pack, and alien suit for your protection.

One of the most fascinating Disney games, Winnie the Pooh's Rumbly Tumbly Adventure, invites you to join Winnie Pooh in the Hundred Acre Woods on three levels of games, including Birthday Scrapbook Adventure Mode, Junior Mode, and the Multiplayer Mini Game. They differ in number of levels and adventures, as well as the complexity of problems and tasks.

Based on the 2002 Disney film, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl is a popular direct-to-video game, designed as a combination of role playing and action. You'll be taken to a large group of Caribbean islands during the golden age of high sea adventures and piracy, and enjoy two styles of the action: battle and exploration.

In addition to direct-to-video Disney games, viewers are also offered a number of Disneychannel games, available online. These range from Zoog Disney for kids to information and activities on such TV shows as the Proud Family, Lizzie McGuire, and Kim Possible.
