Added: 02/23/2006

What a variety of amusement parks you can encounter in Florida! The Disney-MGM Studios is the smallest out of four Walt Disney World parks. Epcot focuses on future technologies and the world's diversity. The Magic Kingdom is the most popular of Walt Disney World's four parks. No one can surpass another and each Florida amusement park is of its own unique character and style.

Having visited several Florida amusement parks, you will never notice any similarity among them, though the main attractions and rides can be the same. Each Florida amusement park is an inexhaustible source of enjoyment and fun with one or several features, distinguishing it among the others. It is impossible to say that one Florida amusement park is better or worse than the other ones, since each park has its own specialty to bring most pleasure and surprise to its young visitors.

For instance, Bush Gardens Tampa is a Florida amusement park and zoo, rolled into one. It makes kids squeeze with its world-class coasters and great live shows and it makes children learn through the exhibition of African animals. The Rhino Rally safari and river ride, Montu inverted coaster, Kumba steel multi-element coaster, SheiKra diving coaster, Gwazi double wood coaster, Edge of Africa safari experience and the ice show are all Bush Gardens' highlights.

The Weeki Wachee and the Buccaneer Bay is a Florida amusement park, famous for its mermaid shows. The park has entertained its visitors since 1947. The mermaids perform two shows daily in the one-of-the-kind underwater theater. The mermaids perform with Florida's marine life, such as various fish, turtles, manatees and alligators! The Florida's only spring fed waterpark in the Buccaneer Bay (with ninety nine percent pure spring water) opens its season on March 11, 2006.

The Cypress Gardens is considered the first Florida theme park, having appeared long before the Walt Disney World. The park features an amazing combination of thrill rides, roller coasters, botanical gardens, animal exhibits and water ski shows.

The Disney's Animal Kingdom, a relative of Walt Disney World parks, is a Florida amusement park, focused on animals. Along with its awesome rides like the Dinosaur trackless, high-speed dark ride or Kali River Rapids raft ride, the Disney's Animal Kingdom immerses visitors in its lush, tropical lands. A mixture of the zoo and amusement park, the Animal Kingdom is really a kingdom of both. The park's signature attraction is the Kilimanjaro Safaris ride.

The Old Town is an exciting Florida amusement park for the whole family. The newest rides include the Inverter, which flipping action results in an acceleration from zero g-force to two g- force and a disorienting action that gives you a diversity of emotions, the Turbo Force, a psychotic version of the Ferris wheel, and the Old Town Slingshot, catapult 365 feet in the air. The Old Town is for those, who love good music, since the park provides it every night all the year round, and for those, who enjoy the restoration, preservation and history of vintage cars, for there are occasional vintage car shows, featured by car clubs.

Finally, but it is still very important, the Dinosaur World in the Plant City is a Florida amusement park that makes a difference. You and your family have an exclusive opportunity to experience hundreds of scientifically accurate, lifelike dinosaurs. This is the place for learning, relaxing and having fun for the whole family and senior citizens, it is also suitable for educational trips and birthday parties.
