Moto is the name a comparatively new and young motorway services provider. To be exact the network appeared in 2001 as part of Compass Group, the world's biggest food service company, Moto has been able to harness international expertise to bring in more brands, more variety and more choice of facilities available. Since the appearance Moto network have made significant strides in making its service areas better places to visit and nowadays there exist 43 Moto Service Areas in the UK and Scotland. Moto company`s aim is ?to make the customers journeys better? and they rather succeed in it, listening to people`s feedback and making improvements to food offer and facilities.
For example, speaking about food, Moto network included more fresh salads, fresh fruit and bread and pastries baked on the premises into their menu, while long-time favourites such as Little Chef and Burger King occupy the top of customers` preferences. The thing is tat Moto station restaurants are only part of brands such as Upper Crust, Ritazza and Harry Ramsden's, but a fusion of a catering place, called Moto Fresh Express restaurants. So these restaurants unite the advantages of fast food time ?saving and a vegetarian salad ?bar, with fresh healthy foods. But if you are not satisfied with your food purchase, we will replace it free of charge or give you a full refund. Since the moment of existence, there was hardly a man to ask for replacement.
In 2004 Moto network won a Tommy's Parent Friendly Award for Best Roadside Restaurant or Services. Special packages designed with parents and Moto Baby and Kids offers contributed much to this winning. As for the baby services, they consist of free Organix baby food in 37 of Moto's Fresh Express restaurants and a purpose-built feeding area (a microwave to heat baby food safely, disposable bowls and cutlery and bottle warmers). Changing rooms offer clean and colourful surroundings in which both mum and dad can change baby's nappy. Play areas mean youngsters can amuse themselves watching cartoons, colouring and playing skill games while their parents eat in peace.
Moto network not only keeps its stations in spotless cleanliness and offers fresh and tasty food, it is committed to the constant revision and improvement of the service areas, providing travelers with quality and value for money in a calm, relaxing environment. The company takes active part in donating charity/community programmes on a regional, national, divisional and global level. Over the last 6 years, Moto have raised in excess of ?600,000 for our nominated charities, which have included The Children with Leukaemia Trust, CLIC (Challenging Cancer and Leukaemia in Childhood), Hospitality Action, our Industry Benevolent Organisation, and in 2004 linking the Moto community activity with charity fundraising, supporting a network of 12 Children's hospices around the UK that are within the Communities of Moto Service Areas. Besides, in addition to charity fundraising, Moto actively look to support valuable community projects, and encourage our staff to identify opportunities to assist community initiatives.
But the main and most important role of the Moto network is providing comfortable restaurants with fresh tasty food, lots of accompanying facilities and children friendly motorway service stations.
