Being one of the largest countries in Europe in area, Sweden is one of the most thinly populated European nations. Forests of spruce and pine cover over a half of the country. Along with the beautiful lakes, snowcapped mountains and rocky islands they attract thousands of tourists every year. However, Sweden is not just wild life. It is also big cities with crowded streets and ancient castle, cobble-stone roads and palaces. Together they create the unique character of the country and make it one of the most popular tourist destinations nowadays.

Volvo's birthday is the 14th of April, 1927 when the first automobile lovingly named "Jacob" was produced at a little factory of Gothenburg. This was an automobile designed in American style. Only in the middle of fifties the Sweden designers came up with their own unique style. Nowadays Volvo brand includes cars, trucks, buses, building equipment, power plants for industrial usage, and aircraft engines for military and civil aviation. Still, the name of the brand is closely associated with cars, the many of us unmistakably distinguish Volvo automobiles among many others.
