The Shinkansen is a network of high-speed railway lines in Japan. The first line was opened in 1964 and since that time it has expanded to connect the most major cities on the islands Honshu and Kyushu. The trains of Shinkansen run at the speed up to 186 mph. and there are three types of trains, operating on the Shinkansen railways with the most famous called Mozomi. Mozomi is the fastest and more modern train, distinguished by its fifteen meter long power car nose and a dome canopy of the driver's cab to allow a perfect forward vision.
