Bald Eagle Mountain has an elevation 8,400 feet and offers ideal terrain for beginner and intermediate skiers. First-time skiers will appreciate the separate, protected beginners' area known as Wide West, accessed by two chairlifts, Burns and Snowflake. The ski area in the real estate development of Deer Crest is accessible by Little Stick or Navigator ski runs or by catching the Jordanelle Express Gondola, at the Mayflower/Deer Crest entrance on Highway 40. Located near the NASTAR course on Blanche, the MountainCross course offers side-by-side racing with a mix of bumps, berms, and banked turns. You can also take the family tubing at Gorzoga Park.
