Crawfish is so popular in the US, that Americans even hold crawfish festivals annually in different locations. One of them is Louisiana crawfish festival, which has celebrated its 29th anniversary this year. What is the Louisiana crawfish festival? It is the event, celebrating culinary, entertainment, and music art with a variety of facilities and amenities for it. The crawfish festival is commonly held on the grounds of new Frederick J. Sigur Civic Center (formerly the St. Bernard Cultural Center), located in 8245 W. Judge Perez Dr. in Chalmette, Louisiana. The crawfish fest in Louisiana draws people from the nearby locations, as well as from the states and other countries as well. It is the combo of food and fun for people of all ages.

Another famous US crawfish festival is Michael Arnone's Annual Crawfish Fest, to be held at the Sussex County Fairgrounds, in Augusta, NJ, on Saturday, June the 3rd-Sunday, June the 4th, 2006 (the festival's 17th anniversary). The festival is a two day celebration of music, dancing, entertainment and food, and what a great celebration it is! The year 2006 will feature Zydeco, Cajun, New Orleans R&B, Delta Blues, Jazz and a little Gospel on three stages, as well as dancing on a wooden dance floor in the twelve thousand sq.ft. Dance Hall.
The guests will enjoy fresh Boiled live Louisiana Crawfish, Crawfish Bread, Shrimp Creole, Crawfish Bread, Crawfish Pie, Alligator Sausage, Jambalaya, Southern Fried Chicken and the other great dishes on the menu.
