Cottage bedding: everyone will sleep comfortablyThere are two main things about vacation accommodation, they are bed and breakfast. Speaking about cottages which are self-catering - breakfast is your own directory, you can cook yourself the one you prefer, but cottage bedding is included in the general amenities you get while renting a vacation house. And so of course there are different variants of it, you choose the one that suits you the most.
The main point is certainly the amount of people a cottage may sleep. There are very many cottage bedding types available. The first thing you pay attention to while choosing accommodation - is the number of bedrooms. Two classical variant available in all parts of the world are one and two bedroom cottages.
One bedroom cottages are obviously suppose to sleep two people. For a romantic getaway when you don't need anyone third - it's just perfect. You won't need anything more from a cottage bedding but a kind size bed, well probably you won't need from the whole cottage at all nothing but that. Yet very often one bedroom cottages sleep three or ever four person. This is rather useful for family vacations. There's still one king size bed in the single bedroom, but there's also a couch in the living room. A couch may sound uncomfortable, but it really isn't. Usually it's a sort of a camp-bed, that can sleep luxuriously one person and comfortably two persons. Another variant of one bedroom cottage may have a king size hide-a-bed in a living room. Finally these cottages may be supplied with mattresses which you can lay down in any part of the house.
This one bedroom may be either equipped with two twin beds instead of one king size. This type of cottage bedding is perfect for families with two children.
Two bedroom cottages usually sleep six. Classical cottage bedding configuration usually looks this way: queen bed or bed, twin beds and hide-a-bed or a couch in the living area. Both bedrooms can either be of the same size or which is more likely one will be smaller than other. Mind that some two bedroom cottages are meant only for four people - two in each bedroom.
With two bedroom cottages the bathroom question starts to matter. Variants are two - one shared bathroom for both bedrooms or two private bathroom. Second variant will obviously cost more, but if you are coming six it may be worthy.
One very considerable thing about cottage bedding is who comfortable it'll be. Normally the cottages are pre-prepared for you arrival, you have no need to worry about linens and towels. Of course not only fresh linens make bedding comfortable, before renting a cottage check if they provide enough pillows and comforters. These are details yet it's reasonable to think about them beforehand. If you are renting a cottage for a long time even though it's self-catering, the owners are supposed to provide you with fresh towels and linens, not daily of cause.
One should know while planning vacation budget that two bedroom cottage per person costs less that one bedroom. As it's normal in hospitality business summer and holiday time cottage rent is higher when off the season. And one more thing is that mostly you can rent a cottage not less than for some certain period of time. Rather often cottages are paid only per week.
