What is it? Many 5 and 4 star resorts and hotels have a professional animation team comprised of men and women. Animation activities begin from early in the morning throughout the day and continue well into the evening.
During the day on the beaches, in the swimming pools and generally around the hotel's grounds, the animation team will encourage the guests to participate in a wide range of fun activities and games. Their duties include things like performing aerobics poolside, leading sports activities, stretching, gymnastics, squash, table tennis, billiards, open-air disco, live entertainment shows, tennis court, golf courses, football, mini football, volleyball, beach volley, basketball, jogging, draughts, chess, backgammon, game cards, archery, water basketball, water volleyball , bicycle tours or walking treks, etc. In the evening the animation team performs a "house" show, children's disco party and then continue to entertain you into the night with cabaret shows, musicals, and comic sketches.
If the hotel is situated at the seaside, most of them can suggest you diving courses: Many people who swore to God that they would "never ever dive" ended up trying pool demonstrations. The first group encompasses the ages between four and eight years. The basis for the program is the games and hand abilities, activities that this group prefers. Much depends on the facilities and the location of your hotel. It can include game room, swimming pool, beach, walking tours in the surrounding area, sand castle building, treasure hunting, fancy dressing parties, pony rides (if the weather permits, and the area is adequate) , games without frontiers.
9-12 years
The group encompasses ages from nine to twelve years old. Activities are usually based on sport games: table tennis (ping pong), darts, volley ball, football, basket ball and water polo, walking tours, hand games that require certain abilities (painting T-shirts, clay modelling, etc), games at the swimming pool and horse back riding (only if the area is adequate).
Teenager's group (13+ years)
This group encompasses the ages thirteen and above. The games are adapted to the age and sport oriented -mentioned above- , additionally tennis, air rifle shooting. The program consists of swimming pool games, jazz dance, aerobics.
Extra activities are: horse back riding, motor boat trips (in the event of bad weather the activities will be organized in the bar-salon: gymnastics, darts, bingo, table games)
