CFEA - Enhancing the Export Efforts in the Food and Beverage Industry

In the global economy, trade matters more than ever for growth and jobs. The Canadian Food Exporters Association or the CFEA increases global sales as a central source of market intelligence, industry information and promotion.

The mission of the organization is to: increase the profitable export sales of food and beverage products; increase the number of small to medium-sized food and beverage processors and manufacturers exporting and raise the international profile of Canadian food and beverage products.

CFEA organizes a number of workshops per year all focused on export: U.S. Labeling Regulations, Japanese Labeling Regulations, How to Export, etc. These training workshops will help you get started or enhance your knowledge on exporting.

- The Basics of Exporting workshop will assist potential exporters in developing an export strategy and selecting potential markets;
- Exporting Mechanics and Logistics examines the various methods available to serve foreign markets, and covers the basics of export documentation, financing and logistics;
- Market Specific Workshops is designed to cover specific markets in detail and highlight issues, challenges and opportunities in serving those markets.
