Caribbean Beach Vacation ? A Wonderful Hideaway

Caribbean is some wonderful hideaway islands where you can be sure to get away from it all. The Caribbean is the place for this, where people find themselves and regain the sparkle and sense of humour they may have lost with the passage of time.

Think about purchasing a private villa there - unlike a hotel or package holiday, self-catering gives an added freedom and flexibility, the islands, properties, and yachts along with their crews.

In the Caribbean you are to choose among very flexible services. For instance, they can organise anything from a few days break on a very quiet sleepy island where you can initially unwind and acclimatise, followed by a week's sailing round many of the beautiful islands and uninhabited cays on one of our superb privately owned yachts. "Bareboats" (without crew) are also available on some islands. Anchor off the many reefs and enter into a world of incredible underwater life. Snorkelling is a magical and easily learned way of seeing stunningly beautiful multi-coloured fish in their own environment.

For the keen sailor there are yearly Regattas on many islands. These are great fun, generally speaking not taken too seriously and the apres sail parties are usually memorable!

Having been thoroughly spoilt and by now achieved the tan you always longed for, the next stop may be a slightly busier island with some night life and numerous first class live bands, where you can go "jammin" until sunrise and enjoy the extraordinary musical talent and movement that abound throughout the Caribbean.

One of the magical attractions, apart from the stunningly beautiful stretches of totally unspoilt, almost pure white sand beaches, lined with coconut palms and sea grape trees, is of course the glorious colour, both above ground and beneath the sea. A bonanza of tropical fish and coral lure divers from around the world and many of the botanical gardens are to die for.

During Carnival time, which takes place on all the main islands at different times of the year, you can not fail to soak up the electric atmosphere that is created and you will experience the sight and sound of a throbbing mass of brilliant colour and musical sensation.

English, apart from the French islands, is the recognised language (though sometimes one may doubt this!) and local people are usually helpful, friendly and polite, however, one must bear in mind that this is a totally different culture, which should never be forgotten.

Age knows no boundaries here, it is possible that time stands still, some believe it even reverses. The only drawback of this enchanting area of the world is that it can become addictive and once you have been tempted to visit, even fleetingly, you will yearn to return to paradise again and again.
