After that first period all is about your skills and flying experience of course. After have exceeded the minimum flying experience which is a year one can take a challenge to become a senior crew member. If you're lucky and skillful enough you'll be promoted. What's so good about senior cabin crew? Well, it's good the same way as the promotion in any other job - they earn almost twice more than the beginners.
