Much like the city itself, the nightlife in Las Vegas is dazzling and overwhelming. There are so many choices; it's hard to know which direction to head first. Most of Las Vegas activity occurs on the weekends, but the city certainly doesn't sleep during the week. The bars are largely empty and the dance clubs are not even open until Wednesday. You just have to be at the right place, at the right time and on the right day of the week.
C2K and RA are the best bets for club dancing. The future of entertainment is here with the arrival of C2K, the most electrifying entertainment venue on the Las Vegas Strip. Back in the day, C2K club, Las Vegas used to be a monster in the scene, but in late 2000, the mega-club was suddenly shut down and its power as one of the town's premier nightspots vanished. The club reopened a few months later, but it wasn't the same. C2K has gone through a million management changes since then.
Located within the Venetian Hotel/Casino this dance club is one of the latest additions to the Vegas club scene. C2K club, Las Vegas is located in a theater, with the huge dance floor on the stage. You'll find a standard dance club with house and techno music with plenty of Vegas's finest. This place is very upscale; most of the crowd is in their 30's which suggests that drinks are a bit more costly. The dance floors are lit by an expensive system of red, green and blue lights. The club has good vibe. Sometimes features world class DJ's. Go Go dancers keep the dancing going all night and definitely inspire you to get to the gym. C2K Las Vegas is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 11pm-dawn. Local residents get in free before midnight. C2K club, Las Vegas dress code is pretty flexible: dress to impress, whatever that might mean.  Beware that cover charges may suddenly increase when there is a great feature DJ, it can jump from $10 up to $80.
When the Clark County Commission called for a review of popular night clubs on the Las Vegas Strip to see if problems such as drug use and nudity are occurring at the clubs, it instructed C2K club, Las Vegas officials to hire enough people to monitor patrons, and to have the employees report illegal activities to police immediately. The Commission warned the nightclub owner that he may face losing their liquor and other county license and suffer county fines if he isn't stopping and reporting illegal activities. C2K owner has taken stops to meet some of the county's demands and he is continuing to implement changes.
Time will show how this high-tech, high energy edition to the club and live venue arena keeps performing under the pressure of the other clubs and venues in town.
