Bordeaux wine: the divine nectar from the earth vineyards

When you are talking about France you cannot avoid the topic of wine. That is the inalienable part of the history, it holds a lot of interesting stories about the prosperity of Bordeaux in itself. People like French wine, and since the 8th century the population have been drinking this wonderful beverage and we often hear that this beautiful flavor can bring them to the heaven. Actually, they are right. To prove you only need to taste it once.

Bordeaux is the capital of one of the French regions - Aquitaine - and it offers you a lot of facilities and entertainment options, in particular, the festival of wine.  This tradition is very young, this festival being held only the 5th time this year; but it already has a great number of admirers around the regions of France and around the whole globe.  Usually, it offers you 4 days for discovering the delicious Bordeaux wine.  There you can recognize that this celebration of soul is one of the largest and most interesting shows among almost all in the world.

It is difficult to believe nowadays that a long time through in the past people from other provinces of France didn't drink Bordeaux, except those who lived in the region.  The manufacturing of this magnetic product was only aimed at local inhabitants.  In fact, Bordeaux wine is renowned as one of the best wines in the universe.  Even emperors, like Napoleon III, were amazed at the flavor of Bordeaux, and the named ruler made the classification of these wines.  That was really a necessary thing.  And you can see with your own eyes when you go to France and have a sip of this magnetic beverage that shortly you seem to forget about the everyday bustle and begin to value your own pleasure and each moment of such a wonderful existence.

Though till 1850 a great part of wine was produced only for the local usage and Bordeaux wine was drunk only in Bordeaux, with the time passed this branch of industry had grown to an international scale, and now it does not evoke surprise when you go to a supermarket in your home country situated far away from France and see Bordeaux wine there.  
If you want to visit this place you have a wide choice of accomodations to stay for a good rest with wonderful wine and fascinating people, which all will closely resemble the eternal novels of Alexander Dumas.

Red Bordeaux wine was first produced by wine makers from Medoc region.  And now this wine is made everywhere in France.  Red wine is made of blend grapes or Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and Malbec can be also used.  White Bordeaux wine is made of Sauvignon Bland, Semillon and Muscadelle.  And as you can guess, the flavor of these wines is, indeed, perfect.  There are more than 100 000 hectares of vineyards in the country and a great part of the population are busy on these plantations. 

Bordeaux isn't a small town with the only one production line - in fact, it is a vibrant centre, and not only for the French inhabitants.  You can visit them annually, and they will be glad to see you.  They understand that their place is a real paradise for travelers and do their best to keep it so.  Wine was a favourite drink through the whole history of our planet.  Actually, even Gods in Athens drank this remarkable beverage on their clouds.  So, feel yourself an ancient God and don't refuse tasting something new and pleasant.
