"Bonbini" to aruba restaurant

Added: 10/21/2005

The choice of cuisines, offered at the Aruba restaurants, is, probably, as great as a number of national cuisines around the world. Certainly, the statement above is an exaggeration, but the abundance of options in Aruba gives the right to suggest such a comparison. Really, if you are American, there are restaurants, serving American cuisine, if you are Argentinean, you can eat your traditional Argentine steaks and churrasco. It seems that Aruba takes care of a visitor of any nationality in order not to disappoint him about his food.

There is such an abundance of restaurants in Aruba that you will never be able to visit all of them during only one vacation. Fortunately, each Aruba restaurant will offer you a pleasurable dining in a peaceful and hospitable atmosphere and delicious dishes in an abundance of options. Dining at an Arubian restaurant is an opportunity to try not only national Caribbean and Aruba cuisine, but also a large quantity of cuisines of many other countries, including Spain, Mexico, Japan, Italy, Germany and many more. These multi-national cuisines are served in a number of international restaurants, such as CUBA'S COOKIN', FRENCH STEAKHOUSE, IGUANA JOE'S, CHEZ MATHILDE and many others.

Here are some of the best options, which are likely to celebrate your excellent taste:
Madam Janette restaurant should be mentioned first, since it is awarded with two gold medals as the best restaurant of the Caribbean 2005. This wonderful Aruba restaurant is run by Ramon Helgers and Karsten Gesing. Ramon Helgers is in charge of exotic fruits, herbs and vegetables. Karsten Gesing is a European master chef, known for his special recipes, based on the "old culinary school" traditions. The locals even call the unique blending of two masters' experiences, reflected in their cuisine, "the Madame Janette experience". It is worth saying that Madame Janette has never advertised, its fame has spread around the world due to innumerous international guests, having often visited the restaurant. The most popular dishes at the restaurant are Risotto alla Pescatore, Linguine dello Scoglio, Branzino al Sale, Sogliola alla Mugnaia, Ossobucco di Vitello and Nodino di Vitello alla Parmigiana. What all that means you will see only if you visit Madam Janette restaurant, the place for those, who like to eat and know what to eat.

Another Aruba restaurant, Chalet Suisse Restaurant, is world famous, both for its magnificent décor and facilities and for its tasty treatments. The restaurant consists of the main dining room, the chalet room and the tiffany room. The main dining room is a comfortable and spacious venue to relax over the finest dining, containing dishes, prepared by the European top chefs. The Chalet Room provides a comfortable Aruba dining for intimate groups. The Tiffany Room is world popular for its lamps and views of the sea.

The menu options are varied, though we can feature the most popular courses. The finest dishes of the main course are Pasta of the Day, Avocado with Seafood Filling, Prosciutto and Melon, and a seafood mélange of shrimp, crabmeat, fish, lobster and mushrooms. A variety of the best meat, including U.S. Black Angus Rib Steak, U.S. Prime Filet Mignon, N.Y. Cut Prime Veal Chop, American Roast Rack of Lamb, will please the most discriminating tastes. The meals at the Chalet Suisse Restaurant will not be complete without tasting its desserts, such as The Swiss Toblerone Chocolate Fondue or the "Marquise", consisting of a Bailey's Grande Anglais Sauce and creamy hazelnut ice cream.
The Chalet Suisse is proud of the fact that it has never failed to enjoy both, visitors and locals, with the efficiency of its hospitable and all-caring service staff, well-balanced menu options and the tenderness towards the preparation of each dish.

We come to a happy end of our Aruba restaurants' review and we can generally state that each Aruba restaurant says to you "bonbini", which in the native language of Papiamento means "welcome".
