Are you going away for a holiday and afraid to leave your favorite house plants unattended? That?s where plant waterers will come to your rescue. This product automatically waters your house plants when you aren't home. So you can relax and enjoy your vacation knowing that your plants are taken care of.
Aqua Plant waters for up to four weeks. What you need to do is just fill the 40 oz. reservoir and push into the soil. The capillary action delivers moisture at a steady, measured pace, giving your plant just what it needs without over- or under-watering.
Automatic Plant-Watering System is designed in Italy. This waterer automatically waters up to 20 plants for up to 40 days without the need for a spigot or power outlet. Up to 20 drippers attach to a 32' PVC hose that runs from the systems reservoir to the indoor plants and then back again. A single dripper placed in each plant takes care of watering. The waterer features a washable polyamide filter that removes rust, dirt, and other impurities so drippers don?t clog. Four easy-to-set watering programs regulate the 6 1/2 gallon reservoir for 10, 20, 30, or 40 days of use. To prevent condensation, the tank is separated from its support base. The non-slip rubber pads protect table or counter surfaces. The device requires one 9-volt battery for one year of use.
Busy gardeners also benefit from the Plant Sitter system. It delivers water to the plants based on the soil's dryness. Each Plant Sitter includes a small water tank that hangs on the side of the pot, and a dia ceramic cone with 18-1/2" siphon tube. Available separately are additional cones with watering tubes. Water tank is 8 inches across and 6 inches high.
Bottle Top Waterers are probably the simplest and neatest ideas you have seen. These earth waterers come handy if you travel a lot. A bottle top waterer screws onto the top of plastic drinks bottles to give them a new lease of life as a handy greenhouse or indoor plant waterer. Also perfect if you find it difficult to lift heavy watering cans.
Soil Moist Packets are also a great way to provide your plants with moist. Highly absorbent granules store water and then release it over an extended period of time as the surrounding soil dries. Just mix the granules with potting soil, add to existing pots, or use it in the garden. Mr. Evergreen is a self-regulating waterer that supplies only the water that the plants need. The spike screws onto a water-filled plastic soda bottle, and then pushed down in the soil. Water is slowly released into the soil as it dries out.
Earth waterers are terrific both for indoor plants and outdoor pots.
