With one-half color green and the other half colored red, 3D glasses create an optical illusion which is generated by projecting two images on the screen a fraction of a second apart. The images are generated from a left eye and a right eye perspective. The glasses block the vision of the person's eyes to match the image projected on the screen. The presentation is produced in real time by a powerful Silicon Graphics computer on a 1.5m Electrohome monitor.
