The easiest way to meet women is to be approachable and make new friends. This way you will meet more people and some of them might have female friends they will set you up with. You will be exposed to new places and activities, which might lead to meeting women.

Another tip is to be pro-active. Don't wait to get fixed up. Think of something you like to do ? golfing, cycling, roller-blading, horseback riding, or working out. Think of a place where people who like to do that tend to gather. Go there. Look for women who are available and seem to have an interest in common with you.

Walk up to one such female and start a conversation.

If you can't come up with any specific hobbies or activities you like, then try making yourself more interesting and people will get interested in you.

If the first woman or two you pick don't work out, don't get discouraged. Consider it valuable experience. Be polite and apologize for bothering them.

Practice makes perfect. Talk to women every day. They don't need to know that you almost have a heart attack when they look your way. Calm down and take a deep breath. Behave as if you could not care less if you get a date with her or not. If you look too desperate, it won't get you anywhere. We have been on this earth millions of years, but we have only been civilized for a few thousands. In the primeval times a female would choose the most productive and confident man she could find. Subconsciously, she still wants to pass on her genes to someone who is strong.

When you approach a woman don't panic. Don't allow her to sense that you will be asking her out on a date. Instead strike up a conversation with her using small talk. Talk about the weather, or compliment her on her looks or clothes. Don't go over board with this. Don't be overly eager to keep the conversation flowing. Make sure you look into her eyes while talking. Don't use a blank stare. Look into her eyes and look away often. This will make her think you are listening to what she is saying.

Don't get too close. It might make her feel uncomfortable. Women tend to be very cautious about things like this.

Don't ask her if she wants a cup of coffee right away. She doesn't even know you. Give her some space.

If you meet a woman who is not available, but who wishes to chat with you, talk to her. Behaving like that will let you make a good impression in case she is sizing you up for some friend.

Try to become more approachable to attract the opposite sex. Being approachable is a combination of things. The first key is to establish an eye contact. Women will not approach a man whose eyes she can't see. Averting one's eyes is a sign of defence that warns people not to approach you.

Smile. A pleasant relaxed smile in combination with eye contact is perfect. This doesn't come naturally to many people and it's a good idea to practice this in a mirror. Just look at yourself and picture the image you want to express to others. Then train presenting that image on your face.

Remember that attractiveness, self-confidence, and personal charisma are already hidden in every personality. Don't be afraid to reveal and announce them to women.
