- Make a list of at least fifty flattering things about yourself. Make another list of fifty reasons why you would make a good date. Keep these lists handy and reread them whenever you are feeling low. Ask your friends to tell you what they appreciate you for.
- Learn to be a good decision maker. There are many good books on the dating subject. You need to know how to spot the right people to date and how to let go of the wrong ones.
- Do you feel like there are no any singles left for you? Take it easy. There are over eighty million single people in the USA only. Just imagine how many billions are worldwide.
- Take away all the old stuff left from past relationships. Free yourself for the new dating. Invite your friends over to celebrate the beginning of your new life.
- Create a home that will be appealing to both you and your dates. You need a place that you will be proud to bring a date to, a place that reveals your personality in a very flattering way. Hire an interior designer if you need some professional help. Read decorating magazines to get some ideas.
- Choose a good roommate. Your dates will be meeting them and you want your roommate to make a good impression on the people you date. Choose wisely.
- Sign up for a yoga class to learn relaxation techniques. It will make you feel better about yourself.
- Practice meditation and breathing exercises. Get yourself into a peaceful state of mind.
- Get plenty of rest before a big date. You will look relaxed and composed.
- Unwind before a big date. Listen to music. Take a hot bath. Don't spoil an evening by being nervous.
- Choose a theme song. Pick the one that lifts your spirits and puts you in the mood to conquer the world. Play it before dating.
- Refrain from thinking about the worst-case scenario on dates. You need to focus on the positive. Don't worry yourself to death.
- Learn to enjoy all dates. If you realize your date is not Mr. or Miss Right, it doesn't stop you from having fun.
